Finance Accountant

Kehijau Berbak project immediately looking for a Finance and Accounting Staff to be based in Jambi, Indonesia.

Position Aims

• Provide high-quality financial and administrative support to programs
• Ensure the financial integrity of the organisation

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensuring an adequate treasury. This includes

• Weekly prepare and update cash flows forecast and arrange petty cash requirements
• Monthly prepare cash flow forecasts over the local office administration
• Assuring at the time sufficient balance in the bank account
• Control of cash transaction in jambi
• Undertake cash transaction to Jambi
• Control of expenditure within the budget
• Tax management and planning
• Ensuring adequate accounting
• Verification of all invoices prior to payment
• Preparing vouchers as required , and have them signed for approval
• Enter all transactions in the Budget Control System
• Reconciling monthly expenditure
• Ensuring adequate filling
• Proposing filling system for the programme
• Keeping state of the art files with hard copies and soft copies
• In consultation with the Procurement expert , keep an updated inventory list
• Performing any other duties

Selection Criteria

• Indonesian nationality
• Domicile in Jambi
• Good verbal and written commend of the Indonesian and English language
• S1/D3 accountancy  with at least 3 year experience in finance and administration
• Good knowledge of Personnel Income Tax, Withholding Tax and Value Added Tax
• Extensive experience with office software
• Advance bookkeeping
• Open minded with an ability to work across cultures
• Excellent time management skills

Yayasan Fondasi Hidup (Food for the Hungry/FH) adalah organisasi sosial non pemerintah yang bertujuan untuk mengentaskan kemiskinan masyarakat secara terpadu (holistik) baik kemiskinan jasmani maupun kemisikinan rohani. FH bekerja di bidang Kesehatan, Pengembangan Ekonomi Masyarakat, Pendidikan, dan Pengurangan Resiko Bencana melalui pemberdayaan masyarakat (komunitas) dampingan.  Saat ini, kami sedang mencari kandidat terbaik dan menyukai pekerjaan di tengah masyarakat untuk mengisi posisi tersebut.

Tujuan Posisi:

Fasilitator Pengembangan Masyarakat bertanggungjawab untuk semua kegiatan FH  di lapangan yaitu kegiatan di bidang pendidikan, penghidupan dan kesehatan. CDF akan bekerjasama dengan staff teknis (education officer, livelihood officer dan health officer) untuk menjamin kegiatan di lapangan berjalan dengan baik. CDF akan memfasilitasi proses pengembangan komunitas seperti pemilihan penerima manfaat, mengorganisir dan memobilisasi pemimpin masyarakat, komite masyarakat dan kelompok-kelompok. Menjalin komunikasi yang baik dan teratur dengan semua pemangku  kepentingan dan penerima manfaat. Dan memberikan penilaian terhadap perkembangan di masyarakat. Tanggungjawab CDF dapat ditambahkan saat dianggap penting oleh manajemen.

Syarat & Kompetensi

• Terbuka untuk segala jurusan, namun lebih disukai jurusan Kesehatan Masyarakat, Kesejahteraan Masyarakat, Bidang Ekonomi dan Pertanian
• Pengalaman minimal 2-3 tahun di bidang pemberdayaan masyarakat
• Memiliki kepemimpinan yang baik dan nilai-nilai hidup yang baik
• Memiliki kemampuan mengorganiser dan memfasilitasi
• Memiliki kemampuan komunikasi yang baik dengan rekan kerja dan masyarakat
• Fleksibel dan mampu beradaptasi
• Mampu secara mandiri maupun bekerja di dalam tim

Tanggung Jawab

• Memfasilitasi seluruh kegiatan program pemberdayaan di komunitas berjalan sesuai dengan panduan desain program FH
• Bekerjasama dengan staff teknis (education, health dan livelihood) untuk memastikan pelaksanaan program di komunitas berjalan dengan baik.
• Memastikan keterlibatan masyarakat dalam perencanaan dan implementasi dengan cara konsultatif, partisipatif dan gender sensitif
• Menjalin hubungan yang baik dengan masyarakat penerima manfaat dan dengan pihak-pihak yang terkait dengan pelaksanaan program.
• Melakukan penilaian secara teratur mengenai kondisi masyarakat, potensi masyarakat dan kebutuhan di masyarakat berkaitan di bidang pendidikan, kesehatan dan penghidupan.
• Memberikan laporan penilaian mengenai kondisi di  masyarakat, potensi yang ada di masyarakat dan kebutuhan di masyarakat kepada area kordinator.
• Berperan aktif untuk membawa kasih, pengetahuan, kebenaran dan ide-ide kepada anak-anak, keluarga, organisasi masyarakat  dan pemimpin masyarakat. Supervisi terhadap relawan lokal yang membantu pelaksanaan program di komunitas.
• Bekerjasama dengan relawan lokal untuk melakukan kegiatan yang terkait dengan korespondensi anak kepada sahabat anak.
• Melaporkan kegiatan-kegiatan di lapangan satu kali dalam dua minggu kepada area kordinator.
• Melakukan tanggung jawab/pekerjaan lainnya yang diminta oleh atasan.

Background and Objective of the Activity / Latar Belakang dan Tujuan Aktifitas 
The Swisscontact Sustainable Cocoa Production Program (SCPP) in Indonesia, is currently accepting applications for the position of program field intership, which was aimed at increasing youth participation in the communities facilitated by the program. This is key component in assuring sustainability of the program, in a way of providing a chance for educated agriculture youths . participating in this acitivity, agriculture students may attain employment prospect after getting their qualification from their school.

Program Produksi Kakao Berkelanjutan (SCPP) di Indonesia, membuka lowongan untuk posisi Program magang lapangan, yang bertujuan meningkatkan keikutsertaan pemuda dalam masyarakat yang sedang difasilitasi program. Ini adalah komponen penting dalam memastikan kesinambungan Program, dengan memberikan kesempatan bagi pemuda berlatar pendidikan pertanian. Keikutsertaan dalam kegiatan akan membuka peluang pekerjaan bagi para pelajar jurusan pertanian setelah mendapatkan kualifikasi dari perguruan tinggi mereka.

• Swisscontact SCPP : Build bilateral cooperation with schools or colleges to improve the quality of graduates through internship programs / membangun hubungan kerjasama dengan sekolah dan universitas untuk meningkatkan kualitas lulusan melalui program pemagangan.
